Region ONE (Outrageous New Experiences) is one of the regions of the California Destination Imagination affiliate. Region ONE supports teams in Northern California.

This region encompasses Siskiyou, Modoc, Shasta, Lassen, Tehama, Plumas, Butte, Glenn, Colusa, Sutter, Yuba, Sierra, Nevada, Placer, Yolo, Sacramento, El Dorado, Amador, San Joaquin, Calaveras, Alpine, Stanislaus, and Tuolumne counties.
Students in these counties are invited to participate in this region!
Our Regional Directors
Director Welcome Message
Welcome to Destination Imagination, Region ONE (Outrageous New Experiences). Our board is 100% volunteers made up primarily of people whose kids participated in the program long ago. Our kids got so much out of the program, we have made a committment to maintain this program for families in Northern California.
Our main jobs are to recruit teams, train Team Managers and Appraisers, run workshops, and organize our Regional Tournament in Roseville on March 1, 2025.
Our goal is to grow the program in the Sacramento Region. If you don’t have an established DI program at your school, please reach out to us to plan an Information Night to help you get the program started!

It takes A LOT OF WORK to put on training events and the tournament. We are ALWAYS looking for MORE volunteers! If you have experienced the value of DI and can volunteer for any role, from small to large, please reach out to us!

Experience the fun of Destination Imagination in Northern California with Region ONE (Outrageous New Experiences)!
Our region serves students in public schools, private schools, parochial schools, home schools and other organizations located within our Region.
We partner with parents, schools, community organizations and homeschool families to organize teams. Parents and teachers are encouraged to volunteer as team managers!
